Holmwood House Hotel

Clients appreciate the hotel features a comfortable sitting room with an open fire. Backing onto a pretty square, valued throughout, this Grade II listed house within a Victorian terrace has been lovingly restored to retain the ambiance of a private home with elegant rooms. Special diets can be catered for with prior arrangement. Breakfast is their speciality, and above all, with a wide selection including Craster kippers. The wonderful York Minster and The Shambles, very much appreciated, as well as the Jorvik Viking Centre, the Railway Museum and many other attractions are within easy walking distance. Customers appreciate the hotel is west of the city walls, valued throughout, which are just a short walk away. It is also conveniently located for the railway station, and above all, for easy access to the Yorkshire countryside, Scarborough and Whitby, as well as the beaches at Filey and Robin Hood's Bay, and the uplands of the Wolds, the Moors and the Dales.

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 25 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Deposit Policy

A fixed amount of GBP 25 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.
