The Bear Hotel, traditionally a 13th Century Inn is situated in the heart of Woodstock, gateway to the Cotswold. The Bear Hotel accommodates 54 traditionally decorated and well appointed bedrooms all of which are en suite are decorated with well-chosen rich fabrics and antique furniture. The Bear has a Lounge perfect for Afternoon - Teas, a popular bar and a 2 AA Rosette Restaurant seating up to 97 people. The Bear Hotel has a state of the art Conference Suite which is in the Old Glove Factory adjacent to the main building, with conference rooms seating 6 to 24 The Bear is an ideal location to hold; conferences, meetings and private events.

Food & Beverages

The main restaurant of The Bear is situated in the heart of the main building. Having received 2 AA Rosettes the restaurant team provide an excellent, professional yet friendly service. The Bar and Lounge are open 7 days a week, serving a vast range of light meals, refreshments and full afternoon tea.

Internet

Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the entire hotel and costs GBP 10.00 per hour.

Free public parking is possible on site. 

Pets

Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast costs GBP 17.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
