Area information

The district of Scharfenberg is famous as the bloody battle grounds of one of the worst conflicts of the Thirty Years' War in the 17th century. Throughout the town, in the museum and in our restaurant, you can find interesting and historical evidence of this stormy period.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate.  Continental breakfast is not included and costs EUR 5.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
