It has a quiet location in Lenneplätze, very much appreciated, 6 km from Winterberg town centre. The family-run the hotel offers regional food and a terrace overlooking the Lennetal valley. Guests can enjoy local specialities and homemade cakes in Wiesemann's restaurant. All the rooms at the the hotel include a private bathroom and a TV. Hiking and skiing trails begin right outside the the hotel, very much appreciated, and are ideal for discovering the Rothaargebirge Nature Park. A children’s menu and a playground are provided, valued throughout, and the surrounding area is free from traffic. Clients appreciate the hotel was voted the 4th-most popular 2-star hotel in Germany in 2009. The Winterberg ski lift and the Postwiese ski resort are each a 5-minute drive away. From May until September guests receive free vouchers for leisure activities in Winterberg, valued throughout, such as the Sommerrodelbahn dry toboggan run.
