All of the 5 rooms available are tastefully furnished and attractively decorated. Each room is comfortable and well equipped, with all the comforts and facilities you need in a restful, relaxing base, including complimentary hospitality trays. Hairdryers and ironing facilities are available on request. Whether you are exploring the Lake District on foot or visiting the area for a restful, restorative holiday, the comfortable, peaceful rooms provide a relaxing haven.

Lingmoor Guest Accommodation aims to offer a comfortable, hospitable stay, at an affordable price, in a family-run house. With just 5 rooms, guests can benefit from attentive, personalised service. Accommodation is available throughout the year. The town of Windermere provides excellent bars, restaurants and local shops and a 20-minute walk will bring you to the lake, where boats can be hired or a lake cruise taken, giving you time to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Guests can load and unload right outside the front door and parking is available for guests use at an additional cost, just 2 minutes walk away.

Food & Beverages

A full cooked English breakfast is included in the room rate and is available from 08:30 to 09:30 every day, in the dining room. The generous breakfast is a great way to start your day, whatever you have planned.

Lingmoor Guest Accommodation is not suitable for children younger than 5 years of age. Lingmoor Guest Accommodation will add an additional cost to all payments made by credit card.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and charges are applicable.

Free public parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not possible).

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.  If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

Children older than 5 years are welcome.  Baby cots are not available.  One child from 5 to 16 years is charged GBP 20.00 per night and person when using existing bedding.  One older child or adult is charged GBP 33.00 per night and person when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.  

Please note that in case specific policies apply to a particular room or rate, the specific room/rate policy prevails over the general hotel policy
