Cumbria is home to the Lake District National Park, considered one of the most beautiful areas of the UK. By Car Take Junction 36 off the M6 and join the A590 leading onto the A591. As you enter Windermere, follow the town centre sign. Pass through the Windermere's one-way system and after Pelican Crossing take the second turn left into Ellerthwaite Road. Holly Road is then the first left turn. Beaumont guest house car park is clearly marked on your right. By Rail or Bus The nearest local Railway Station is Windermere, less than half a mile away, and the West Coast Main Line Station is Oxenholme, which is just over ten miles. There is a National Express Coach Stop at Windermere Railway Station. A Taxi Rank is outside the Railway Station but should you wish we will be happy to pre-book a taxi on your behalf.
