The beautiful forests and grasslands invite for relaxing strolls through the landscape, hiking tours, jogging, roller blading or cycling. The old ruins of castle Windeck and the waterfalls are also worth a visit. Travel information By car from the motorway A3/A59/A560: Take the exit 'Hennef-Ost' (no. 7). Continue driving towards 'Eitorf' until 'Windeck-Schladern'. By car from the motorway A45/A4: Take the exit 'Reichshof-Waldbroel' (no. 26). Continue driving along the federal highway B256 towards 'Denklingen' and 'Waldbroel' until 'Windeck-Schladern'. By train: From the main station in Cologne by tram towards 'Koeln-Au' (no. 12) or by train Rhein-Sieg-Express towards 'Siegen' (no. RE 9). Leave tram or train at 'Bahnhof Schladern'. Our house is only 150 m from the train station/tram station.
