A warm welcome awaits you at the hotel from resident proprietors, very much appreciated, Stephen & Julie Ward. Small, valued throughout, friendly hotel, close to all West Cliff and town amenities. Customers appreciate the hotel is situated on Whitby's famous West Cliff and is thus very conveniently positioned for the Promenade, highly regarded, beach, harbour and shops. A charming small, which is non smoking, hotel, and above all, it assures a friendly personal service to all its guests. Unfortunately, very much appreciated, due to the quiet nature of The Waverley, pets and children under the age of five are not allowed to stay at The Waveley. Children over the age of 5 years are welcome and enjoy specially reduced rates if sharing a room with parents. There are 3 parking spaces at the back of The Waverley, which is please enquire for availability stating the make and model of the car, or, and above all, alternatively, 'on street' parking is allowed on Crescent avenue.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Policy

100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is not included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel. Extra beds are not available. There is no capacity for cots in the room.
