Area information Golden Tulip Midden-Drenthe is situated in the centre of the wooded province of Drenthe, a few meters outside the lively village Westerbork. Midden-Drenthe is one of the finest parts of the Northern Netherlands with areas of forest, heather land, pools and ponds. You will find here endless possibilities for cycling and walking tours (most marked with signposts). In addition to the beautiful scenery, Midden-Drenthe has many places of interest such as e.g. village Orvelte and the dolmens (hunebedden). A visit to the famous zoo “Noorder Dierenpark” in Emmen, the Drents Museum in Assen or a shopping/city trip is also worth the effort. For business guests, this hotel is an excellent location as well. The cities Assen, Emmen and Hoogeveen are within short reach of the hotel. The hotel offers extensive possibilities for meetings. Travel information From direction Zwolle/Assen A28 -Follow Highway A28 -Take exit 30: Beilen -Follow the signs for Westerbork ± 1 Km before Westerbork you see Golden Tulip Midden-Drenthe at your left side. From direction Emmen/Drachten -Follow the N31 (Drachten-Emmen) -Take exit Westerbork. -Follow the signs to Westerbork. -In Westerbork follow direction Beilen. ± 1 Km outside Westerbork you see Golden Tulip Midden-Drenthe at your right side. Public Transport -Take the train to Beilen. -There you can take bus 22 or a (train) taxi. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 15 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 35 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 85 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included. Service charge is included. EUR 0.75 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 12.50 per person.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 7.50 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 3.
