Unwind in the heated indoor swimming pool, and above all, jacuzzi or spa; or brighten your day in the solarium. 2 bars with traditional pub games complement the on site restaurant, very much appreciated, ensuring you are refreshed and entertained after what will surely be a memorable day. Alternatively the staff can also help you arrange a vast array of activities including archery, valued throughout, go-karting, canoeing, caving, hill walking, horse riding and rock-climbing.

Handily placed for the A38 and Cheddar, Weston-Super-Mare, Wells and Bath, Laburnum House Lodge Hotel offers plenty to do whilst you enjoy your stay within the picturesque Somerset Levels. The swimming pool and gymnasium are free for you to use, whilst the jacuzzi, spa and solarium can be enjoyed for a small additional charge. The tennis court is also free for guests, and rackets and balls are available for hire. The on site clay pigeon shooting range boasts an impeccable safety record, making it ideal for beginners and experts alike. For 16 GBP, you can enjoy a 25-bird shoot, inclusive of all equipment and tuition. Please book a session in advance of your arrival. The restaurant specialises in home-styled cooking, and offers a range of dining options. A bar menu is also available. The main bar is open through-out the day and evening, enabling you to enjoy a drink or a game of pool. A skittle alley is also available for lovers of pub sport. 5 function rooms are available for conferences, meetings, weddings and other celebrations. The largest can accommodate a banquet for up to 100 guests, and a marquis can be set-up for larger events.

Area information Laburnum House is situated in the village of Huntspill, situated between the towns of Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea. A prominent feature of the area is the Huntspill Nature Reserve. Spanning the length of the Huntspill River, which flows near the the hotel, the reserve is a notable haven for various (sometimes rare) species of birds, fish and insects. Other attractions include: Middlemoor Water Park (5 km / 3 miles) - this 20 acre artificial lake offers water ski, wakeboard, jet ski and karting facilities. Cheddar Caves and Gorge (21 km / 13 miles) - an area of rugged natural beauty, including Britain's largest gorge, which climbs as high as 122 metres above the road. The famous caves were inhabited by human ancestors up to 40,000 years ago. Wells (29 km / 18 miles) - said to be England's smallest city, this historic location is home to a number of architectural attractions. Its renowned cathedral has features which date back to the 10th century. Travel information By car: From the M5: - Exit the motorway at junction 22. - Take the A38 towards Bridgwater. - Drive through Highbridge to the 'Crossways' public house and turn right into Church Road. - Continue on for approximately 80 yards (75 metres) and turn left into Sloway Lane. - Laburnum House is at the end of Sloway Lane. From the A303: - Exit the A303 at the Ilminster roundabout and take the A358 to Taunton. - At the Blackbrook roundabout joint the M5 motorway heading North towards Bristol. - Continue on to junction 23 and take the A38 towards Highbridge. - At the 'Crossways' public house turn left into Church Road. - Follow the remaining route outlined above.

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.
