The Rathaus, which is town hall, is on the market place, highly regarded, and is one of the most unique examples of a half-timbered building. Unwind in the Puria Spa, and above all, where you will find saunas, a jacuzzi and a fitness room. Within walking distance, very much appreciated, you will reach many of the towns attractions, such as the towns smallest house, the Schiefe Haus, which is crooked house, and the impressive Krummelsche Haus. Behind the Gothisches Haus, valued throughout, is one of the prettiest houses in the town - the Oberpfarrkirchwinkel.

The listed facade of the hotel has been completely renovated. Inside, the entire hotel and the restaurants have been refurbished. Certain original, historic elements emphasize the successful harmony of modern styles vs. tradition. Enjoy the spa area, which offers a Finnish sauna, organic sauna, steam room, experience showers, a quiet area with heated lounge chairs, solarium, Sabia-Med – replica of Baltic coast beach with UV lighting – and a fitness area.

The Die Stuben restaurant is made up of the Hexenstube, the Ritterstube, the Bohlenstube and the conservatory. The cuisine, offered here is prepared with mostly regional produce. In the wine cellar Winkeller 1360, you can enjoy a glass of excellent wine from a truly impressive selection of German and international wines. Round off the day with a drink in the Lobby Bar, or take a seat by the cosy fireplace. In warmer weather, enjoy the terrace which is on the marketplace, boasting a view of the lovely town hall.

Continue an the B towards 'Halberstadt'. Then follow the B79/ B81 towards 'Wernigerode'. Exit the B6n towards 'Wernigerode' and 'Goslar' at 'Wernigerode-Nord' (not centre). From Hannover: Follow the motorway A2 until the interchange 'Braunschweig-Nord'. Change to the A391 and drive until the interchange 'Braunschweig-Südwest'. Continue on the motorway A39 until the interhcange 'Braunschweig-Süd'. Then A395 towards 'Hoslar/Bad Harzburg' until the interhcange 'Vienenburg'. Exit the B6n at 'Wernigerode-Nord' (not centre). From Saxony or Nuremberg: Follow the A9 until the interchange 'Schkeuditz'. Continue on the A14 towards 'Magdeburg' until the exit 'Magdeburg-Sudenburg'. To see how to continue look at 'From Berlin'. From 'Frankfurt/Main': Exit the motorway A7 at 'Rhuden/Harz'. Then follow the highway B82 to 'Goslar'. Follow the B241 towards 'Bad Harzburg' and 'Wernigerode' to the B6n. Exit the B6n at 'Wernigerode-Nord'. By train: Direct connections to 'Wernigerode' from some bigger cites in Germany.
