Hotel details

The listed facade of our hotel has been completely renovated. Inside, the entire hotel and the restaurants have been refurbished. Certain original, historic elements emphasize the successful harmony of opposites. In the year 2005 our hotel was awarded as one of the three best conference hotels in the federal state of 'Sachsen-Anhalt'.

In the Restaurant “Die Stuben” – “the parlours” consisting of the “Hexenstube”, the “Ritterstube”, the “Bohlenstube” and the “winter garden” fine dining cuisine will be a memorable experience. The wine cellar “Winkeller 1360” is the pride and joy of the Hotel Gothisches Haus. The cuisine, rooted in the Harz region, reflects the regional yet sophisticated ambience under the vaulted ceiling in combination with a truly impressive selection of German and international wines. Finally, our Lobby Bar a place for interesting conversations, to round off the day, or for a fine cigar by the chimney fireplace.

Travel information By car: From Berlin: Follow the motorway A2 until the interchange 'Magdeburg'. Exit the motorway A14 towards 'Halle' at 'Magdeburg-Sudenburg'. Continue an the B towards 'Halberstadt'. Then follow the B79/ B81 towards 'Wernigerode'. Exit the B6n towards 'Wernigerode' and 'Goslar' at 'Wernigerode-Nord' (not centre). From Hannover: Follow the motorway A2 until the interchange 'Braunschweig-Nord'. Change to the A391 and drive until the interchange 'Braunschweig-Südwest'. Continue on the motorway A39 until the interhcange 'Braunschweig-Süd'. Then A395 towards 'Hoslar/Bad Harzburg' until the interhcange 'Vienenburg'. Exit the B6n at 'Wernigerode-Nord' (not centre). From Saxony or Nuremberg: Follow the A9 until the interchange 'Schkeuditz'. Continue on the A14 towards 'Magdeburg' until the exit 'Magdeburg-Sudenburg'. To see how to continue look at 'From Berlin'. From 'Frankfurt/Main': Exit the motorway A7 at 'Rhuden/Harz'. Then follow the highway B82 to 'Goslar'. Follow the B241 towards 'Bad Harzburg' and 'Wernigerode' to the B6n. Exit the B6n at 'Wernigerode-Nord'. By train: Direct connections to 'Wernigerode' from some bigger cites in Germany. Hotel policies

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

VAT is included. Service charge is included. EUR 1.80 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 3 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 4 to 11 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged EUR 43.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
