Area information

The Westerland-Sylt airport is 4 kilometres away and the Westerland railway station is 5 kilometres away from the Lindner Windrose. The island of Sylt doesn’t only offer wonderful walking trails, but also a range of sport opportunities. Golf, tennis, polo, horse riding and of course all water sports, can be enjoyed here.

Travel information

The Westerland-Sylt airport is 4 kilometres away, while the Westerland railway station is 5 kilometres away. From Westerland, you reach us by travelling towards Wenningstedt via Kjeirstraße and Joh.-Möller-Straße, until you reach Nordmarkstraße, which then continues under the name of Norderstraße and Westerlandstraße. Once you reach Wenningstedt, you will see "Fisch Blum" on the left-hand side, where you should turn left. At the end of the road, take another left and then a right into Strandstrasse. The Lindner Hotel Windrose is located on the left-hand side.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 15 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 90 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 2.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Dinner costs EUR 29.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
