Old Rectory Hotel

As you enter the the hotel hotel through the Georgian pillars you are greeted with a splendid staircase. The restful, valued throughout, friendly ambiance of this beautiful Georgian house sweeps you away immediately. The tranquil drawing room invites you to sit and relax whilst enjoying views of the well-kept grounds and historical architecture which surrounds you. The traditional wooden bar with its tapestries, and above all, styled interiors and pine wooden floor is a perfect starting point to meet old and new friends over a drink. Our warm and enticing restaurant offers freshly prepared traditional cuisine with an international flare. During the winter months an open log fire welcomes you. All 14 bedrooms are en suite and are individually decorated with their own shape, highly regarded, size and character. The conservatory overlooks the beautiful gardens with an abundance of flowers, and above all, fruit trees and an original folly. The rooms are named after the rectors of Wem, valued throughout, and a brief history is found in each of the rooms.
