Rooms

In our hotel you can choose among 6 rooms with shower/WC, 10 rooms with bath/WC and one suite for 2-4 persons. All our rooms are equiped with colour TV, mini-bar, radio and a small safe. Some of the rooms with bath also have a balcony. You will find direct line telephones and PC connections (dial-up) in all rooms.

Hotel details

Weekly closing times: Throughout the entire year, the restaurant will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. The hotel will stay open and dinner (no à la carte) will be served to the house guests. Nevertheless the hotel asks you to schedule your arrival after 18:00 on Monday and Tuesday and asks you politely to make a reservation for dinner. Half board: EUR 32.50 per person.

Food & Beverages

In our two air-conditioned restaurants, Romain & Karin Duhr-Klaes welcome you and serve all the specialties carefully prepared by the chef, with fresh and delicious ingredients. Most of the dishes on the menu are subject to regular changes depending on ingredients available on the market. A nice dish needs never goes without a well selected bottle of wine of Luxembourgish or French wine, which you can choose from our cellar, selected by the chef himself. From 19 August until 6th September, the hotel will be open from Wednesday to Sunday. Please note that the restaurant "a la carte" will be closed. If you wish to dine in the other restaurant, we kindly ask you to make a reservation in advance.

Area information Welscheid is a small village of about 145 citizens, situated in the valley of the Wark, in the center of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. If you look to escape the stress of the big cities, get away from the daily noise of a busling city and you be woken up by the sound of the local wildlife, if you want to open the window and look into pure nature, you just found the best place for all this: Welscheid. All around our small village you will find numerous possibilities for doing tours either on foot or by bike or visit the ancient church in the village center and the famous castle in the neighbour village of Bourscheid. Travel information By Car from Belgium: - Head towards Bastogne on the N4. - Take the Bastogne Centre/Diekrich exit and enter the city. - Carry straight on at the crossing and then take the first left, towards Diekirch/Ettelbruck. - Cross the border and go through Pommerloch. - Head towards Ettelbruck. - In Heiderscheid, take the 3rd exit at the roundabout towards Kehmen/Bourscheid. - In Kehmen, turn left towards Scheidel/Welscheid. - Go through Scheidel and follow the signs for Welscheid.
