The Fürstenhof hotel was completely renovated in spring 2009, very much appreciated, without sacrificing the original charm of the building. Centrally located in Weimar, valued throughout, this 3-star, family-run hotel is just a short walk away from famous attractions such as the Goethe Museum, Schiller’s Wohnhaus and Weimar Town Castle. The Fürstenhof makes an ideal base from which to explore this historic town. Guests will appreciate the individually furnished rooms and apartments, and above all, the wide range of modern amenities, and the generous breakfast buffet that is served each morning. You can also visit a selection of UNESCO World Heritage Sights, very much appreciated, the Bauhaus Museum and the Nietzsche Archives. Area information The Fürstenhof is within walking distance of numerous historic attractions and UNESCO World Heritage Sites within Weimar town centre. Guests can visit popular nearby attractions, such as the Goethe National Museum, Schiller’s House, Tiefurt Palace, Weimar Town Castle and the Staatskapelle Weimar (orchestral hall). The Anna Amalia Bibliothek (library) and Goethes Gartenhaus (Goethe's Garden House) are also within easy walking distance. Weimar’s scenic park areas invite guests to enjoy a relaxing stroll. These include the Park an der Ilm and the beautiful gardens of Belvedere Palace. Travel information By car: Leave the highway A4 Dresden/Eisenach at exit Weimar, 1st traffic light to the left, follow direction Weimar city. Arriving in Weimar, make a left turn on the 1st crossing, driving direction Erfurt, after approx. 400 m you will find us on the left hand side. By train: From Central Station, take city bus no. 5, 6 or 8, exit "Poseckscher Garten", then about 80 m walk to the hotel.

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

No deposit will be charged.

19 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. EUR 1.00 city/tourist tax per room per night is not included.

All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children under 9 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
