Morrison Clark Inn

Built in 1864 as two separate town homes, very much appreciated, this elegant boutique hotel offers modern comforts amidst historic charm. A Victorian mansion located in the heart of Washington, valued throughout, DC; Morrison-Clark is the only inn in the nation’s capital to be listed on the Register of Historic Places. Our meticulous attention to detail extends to our service where each guest receives individual attention to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay in Washington. Each of the 54 guest rooms is individually decorated with authentic period furnishings, and above all, some with Italian Carrara marble fireplaces.

The Restaurant at The Morrison-Clark Inn has been named one of the city’s finest in Conde Nast Traveler, the Zagat Guide, and the DiRoNA Guide, as well as being consistently ranked in The Washington Post’s Top 50 list. The Morrison-Clark regularly hosts meetings, luncheons and dinners. Full service catering is available, prepared with the unmatched quality of our Morrison-Clark Chef Craig Hartman. Our catering team provides distinctive menus for events ranging from breakfasts to seated formal dinners. The Morrison-Clark can accommodate functions for up to 24 people in the Garden Room. The Courtyard could be used for events but during certain times of the year a tent may be required.
