Area information Waren is a small but historical city in the northern part of Germany. The major sites of Waren are the old town hall (1797) on the market place, the beautiful marina with the promenade, the St. Marien church and St. Georg church, the Müritz museum and the aquarium. In the surroundings you will find the lake Müritz and its national park with lots of activities like walking, biking, sailing, fishing or just relaxing.
