Situated in the pretty Hertfordshire village of Wadesmill, valued throughout, this beautifully conserved 17th century coaching inn now features modern facilities for a comfortable, relaxing stay. If refreshment is what you are after, highly regarded, we have an extensive range of wines and cask ales. We have 31 beautifully furnished bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and our restaurant offers a varied menu with daily specials and carvery. Unfortunately our rooms will be unavailable for sale until August 2nd 2008. Please note: Our bathrooms are currently being refurbished. Thank you for you patience in this matter.

Travel information

Travel from London on the a10 and you will find us 2 minutes from the Ware turn off. Come up the m11 and turn off at junction 8 near Stansted Airport and travel West to the a10 and turn South to Wadesmill and Ware. We are a short drive from Stansted Airport.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
