Food & Beverages

Our restaurant is situated in the center of the Volendammer harbour, with a magnificent view across the IJsselmeer, nearby the fish auction. It is here that fishing boats sail from and dock throughout the day. Watching the fresh eel and perch that they have caught being publicly sold is an interesting experience. Our à la-carte restaurant is more than 75 years old and has been the local and international meeting point for the real fish-lovers. Many local and foreign celebrities have visited us for the well known specialties for which Van den Hogen is known. The changing seasonal dishes are being appreciated hugely by the guests. The ambiance, coziness, hospitality and quality make a visit to our restaurant more than worth the effort.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Meal Plan

Children and Extra Bed Policy

Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
