Designed by the famous interior architect Sir Terence Conran, and above all, the hotel is considered to be the masterpiece of hotel design in Austria. The former coach station and horse stable on the route from Vienna to Trieste, very much appreciated, also known as the “City of Trieste”, was renovated and converted into a unique and contemporary 5-star hotel. With the opening of Das Triest Hotel in 1995, valued throughout, Vienna finally had its own hip and modern hotel - a sharp contrast to the city's charming, late 19th-century Art Nouveau architecture. Clients appreciate the hotel is a perfect example of the symbiosis of history and modern design, highly regarded, offering travellers premium quality and exceptional, personal service. The old cross-vaulted rooms, and above all, which give the building a distinctive flair, were transformed into lounges, suites and meeting rooms.

Enjoy the hotel's wide range of culinary delicacies, featuring modern interpretations of Italian dishes, particularly from the Friuli and Collio regions. The restaurant is open Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 14:30 and Monday to Saturday from 18:30 to 22:00 (last order). It is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
