All Our tastefully decorated rooms are offered with en suite facilities, Comfortable Hypnos beds, Colour TV with CNN, Secure electronic locks and Direct Dial Telephones with PC Modem points. Ground floor Rooms are also available. A modern elevator is available. All rooms are now fully non-smoking. We will endeavour to meet your requirements, but cannot guarantee this.

The hotel recently featured in the Autumn issue of Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel guide, in an article entitled 20 Wonder Hotels in London: “good rooms at a good price are hard to find in this pricey city. We went hunting and found 20 - all for under USD 150.” The New England Hotel also featured in the Chicago Tribune's travel section on 15 September 2002 and has been mentioned in the Los Angeles Times. 'good rooms at a good price are hard to find in this pricey city. The hotel is now listed by the respected independent American publication Frommer's England 2004 Guide and in the London Moderate Hotels section of Frommer's London 2004 guide. The guide states: “a family-run business, going strong for nearly a quarter of a century, this hotel shut down at the millennium for a complete overhaul. Today, it's better than ever and charges an affordable price. Its elegant 19th century exterior conceals a completely bright and modern interior. The hotel is neat and clean and one of the most welcoming in the area. It's also one of the few hotels in the area with an elevator.” The hotel is a Fodor’s Best Choice recommendation, in the highly acclaimed and respected Fodor's 2004 London and Great Britain travel guides.

Area information Although steeped in history, Victoria is more than just museums, it offers a paradise for walkers, shoppers, and every sort of activity you would associate with a vibrant place. There's plenty to explore famous sights, top-notch shopping and plenty of culture high and low, even off-season. The New England is set in the popular area of Pimlico, which forms part of the City of Westminster. The area is bounded by Vauxhall Bridge Road, the Thames River and the railway into Victoria Station. The area is brimming with history, with stucco-fronted terraces of the mid-19th century classical design, some of the largest opulent houses were built along St George's Drive where the New England Hotel resides. History is certainly preserved with the many Grade II listed buildings in the area. Also listed are the telephone kiosks in Belgrave Road and a cabman's shelter in St George's Square.
