It is similar to an hotel, very much appreciated, and suitable to host a limited number of persons in a quiet, serene and sweet place. Visitors appreciate the hotel is a guesthouse, valued throughout, which is a renovated typical Venetian building that has been transformed into a comfortable place. Some of our rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Our rooms are quiet, and above all, clean, and really nice, especially if you consider that we are a 2-star structure. We also have a terrace with tables and chairs at the third floor, very much appreciated, with sight over the roofs, where you get a tan during the summer day or relax with a glass of wine in the evening. One of our rooms has a private terrace. And at the ground floor, and above all, you can find a little flowery courtyard, which is see photo,, very relaxing and comfortable.

Rooms

All our rooms are all equipped with a private bathroom; they are quite, clean and really nice if you consider we are a 2-star Guest House. We also have a little garden and a terrace with table and chairs, excellent to get a tan during the summer days or to just drink a glass of wine in the evening.

Cancellation policy

6 days before date of arrival. Cancellations more than 6 days prior to arrival = No Charge Cancellations less than 6 days prior to arrival and No Shows = total amount. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Hotel details

Our Guest House is set in a typical Venetian house and it is located in the heart of the city, on the main road called 'Strad Nuova', in a very comfortable and romantic location, near to the public transport and it's only a 6-7 minute walk to the Venice Rail Station. The famous Rialto bridge is only 10 minutes on foot from here; St. Mark square is 15 minutes further. And the magnificent Casino of Venice is at just 50 meters away. Guest House means that it is like an hotel, with the difference that we don't have night service and some restrictions apply to check-in times (from 9.30 AM to 9.00 PM). Late arrivals up to midnight are possible upon request though. All our rooms are all equipped with a private bathroom; they are quite clean and really nice if you consider we are a 2 star Guest House. We have also a little garden and a terrace with table and chairs, excellent to get a tan in a summer day or to just drink a cup of wine in the evening. We are happy to help you will provide you with any information you might need to really enjoy your stay in our beloved city.

Travel information How to come here: By plane: From the Venice-Tessera "Marco Polo" airport you can reach our Locanda "Al Portico" by water taxi (a little expensive), or you can take the direct "Venice Air Terminal" bus, it departs for the Piazzale Roma about every 20 minutes. From there, you can take the no. 1 (boat public service) and get off at the San Marcuola stop. If you take the "vaporetto", we suggest you to buy the "3 days ticket", which costs € 22 and will save you money and maybe a rage against the machine (a single ticket valid for one journey costs € 5). By car You can park your car at Piazzale Roma, then you can take the no. 1, from there, you take the "vaporetto", we suggest you to buy the "3 days ticket", which costs € 22 and will save you money and maybe a rage against the machine (a single ticket valid for one journey costs € 5). Now, when you are at S.Marcuola: 1) go ahead until you reach the wall (about 40/50 steps). 2) Go left 3) take the first "calle" (calles are the typical narrow streets of Venice) named "Calle Seconda del Cristo" to the right. 4) Go ahead until you reach the wall. 5) Go right and straight on inside the portico ("Sottoportico del Pegolotto"), the number on the door is 1804. It takes about 2 minutes to get there from the S.Marcuola.
