Indeed, it is just a few steps away from one of the most popular places in the city, the Rialto market, where art and history commingle with the simplicity of daily life. From here, it is only five-minutes’ walk to such places as the Scuola Grande of San Rocco, the Basilica of the Frari, Ca’ Pesaro Modern Art Museum, as well as the Rialto Bridge and Campo San Polo – which is an important venue during the Venice Carnival and during the Venice Film Festival (when the square is turned into an open-air cinema). By shuttle bus ATVO from the airport to Piazzale Roma(25 minutes) and then water bus “ vaporetto” line n.1 till San Silvestro stop, just after Rialto.
