Food & Beverages

The cosy smoke-free restaurant is open all year and also features a "Jägerstüberl" lounge with tiled stove, a friendly winter garden and a large, shaded garden in summer. Classic local dishes, including fish and the famous "Kärntner Kasnudeln", as well as Mediterranean delicacies, are served. An extensive wine list with Austrian and international wines is also available.

The hotel is partly accessible for disabled people; hotel rooms (bathrooms), restaurant, public area's.

Area information

The Wörthersee region is in the centre of southern Austria, near Slovenia and Italy. Next to the Northern Alps this southwesterly location makes a Mediterranean climate. Velden - this town has been a popular spa and holiday resort since 1864. Today Velden is a holiday resort on the west coast of the lake Wörthersee where you can relax and unwind. Here you can play golf or cricket or undertake a variety of watersports.

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 42.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
