With a Visit Britain Silver Award, you can expect the rooms at the Glenross to be beautifully furnished to a high standard. Each room is equipped with a variety of amenities, including digital televisions (with Freeview), towels and toiletries (please see individual room details for a complete list).

Hotel details

The Glenross has been rated as a 4-star guest house by VisitBritain, the tourist board of the United Kingdom. It is not a hotel. Please discuss mobility or dietary problems with the hotel before booking. The Glenross has 16 entrance steps. Rooms are located on the first and second floors.

Food & Beverages

Included in the rates is your freshly prepared breakfast. Each morning you can order whatever you wish from the full English breakfast menu, as well as the breakfast bar which offers fruit, cereals and juices. Evening 3-course dinners are prepared by the owners using a wide range of lovely locally sourced ingredients. The cooking at the Glenross is renowned for being hearty, varied and extremely good value, which is perhaps why the majority of guests return time and time again. A discount is offered to guests who dine with us every night of their stay. The bar is available while dinner is served, from 18:00 to 20:00. Room/lounge service is available until 22:00. Dinners are available, subject to availability. If you may require dinner, please mention this when booking, using the comments box when making your reservation.

Full payment is requested upon arrival Single-sex groups are not accepted. Groups of more than 8 people must contact the hotel before making a booking. You need to have a computer that is 'Wireless N' enabled to receive internet in bedrooms.

Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Free public parking is possible on site. 

Pets

Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 8 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 85 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  Baby cots are not available.  Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 2.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
