Area information Thorn and its surroundings are ideal for walking and cycling. The landscape is green and varied, but without the real hills that occur in South Limburg. A favourable position along the Meuse lakes and a unique natural habitat add to the appeal of the white town. Valkenburg, where you can enjoy a day at Thermae 2000, is about a 30-minutes drive away Travel information By public transport: We advise train travelers to get off the train at NS Station Weert. Here you can take bus 73 (direction Roermond), that will take you directly to Hotel La Ville Blanche. Get off at bus stop Wak, walk in the direction of centre for about 4 minutes.
