Hotel details

Tourist Hotel has been a reference point in the past for writers and artists. We proudly quote the following extract: “He used to stay permanently at the ‘Tourist Hotel’, on Mitropoleos Street. I have known that hotel since I was an infant... It took me years to notice that some of those books belonged to K. Romaeos, senior, who also used to stay at the ‘Tourist’, while he was a professor in Thessaloniki.” - From “Our Own Blood” by George Ioannou, Kedros Editions, 1980. The halls of the hotel have also been used in the past for filming and photography sessions.

Travel information By Public Transport: Take bus numbers 12 or 78 from the bus station and alight at the first stop on Mitropoleos Street. By Train: From Thessaloniki railway station, take bus number 3 and alight at the first stop on Mitropoleos Street which is directly across from the hotel entrance. By Plane: From Macedonia International Airport, take bus number 78 to Tsimiski Street at Aristotelous Square. This is just one street above Mitropoleos Street, where the hotel is located.
