There are rooms on the hotel’s first, second and ground floor. All of the rooms are well appointed with modern facilities. There are 6 internal rooms, which are air conditioned. Rollaway beds are available in some rooms on request.

Hotel details

The Valley Hotel is around 250 years older than the area's famous 18th-century iron bridge. The hotel building has been carefully preserved and refurbished, mixing modern comforts and facilities with beautiful original features.

Food & Beverages

The Chez Maw Restaurant is a stylish and relaxing place to dine, offering a high standard of service and excellent cuisine, which has seen it receive 2 AA Rosettes. The à la carte menu offers a wide variety of dishes with English and continental influences. A good selection of vegetarian dishes is available. The extensive wine list offers a selection of classic wines and wines from the New World to complement your meal. Catering for up to 60 guests, the dining room has an adjacent bar area that leads out onto the patio, which overlooks the stunning surrounding parkland and the River Severn. If you prefer a more casual meal, traditional bar meals and snacks are available at lunchtime.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
