Privately-owned, highly regarded, the family and its experienced staff invite guests to savour the warm hospitality and superb locally sourced food, cooked and presented in the AA Rosette-awarded restaurant. With a wonderfully relaxing and informal atmosphere, and above all, it is the ideal place in which to unwind. In winter, very much appreciated, enjoy the comfort and warmth of log fires in the cosy lounge or bar. The restaurant has direct access to the gardens, valued throughout, where drinks and canapes can be enjoyed on a warm summer's evening. Area information Ideally located for visiting numerous attractions, including Barrington Court, Forde Abbey, Montacute House, Hestercombe Gardens and the West Somerset Railway. Wells Cathedral, Cheddar Gorge, Longleat Safari Park and the cities of Exeter and Bristol are easily accessible. The hotel is within easy reach of Taunton, Ilminster, Chard and Yeovil. Travel information By Car: - Take the M5 motorway, junction 25, and join the A358 road towards Chard and Ilminster. - Go through Henlade and travel for approximately one mile, then turn left when signposted for Hatch Beauchamp. - From the A303 road, at Ilminster, take the A358 road to Taunton and the M5 motorway. Travel for approximately 5 miles and turn right when signposted for Hatch Beauchamp.
