All of the rooms house an en suite bathroom and modern conveniences, as well as a complimentary decanter of sherry and mineral water which is placed in every room to welcome guests upon their arrival. The garden restaurant provides an informal and relaxed setting for lunch or dinner, while Cousteau's restaurant specialises in providing local produce, particularly seafood. The hotel offers special Carvery Sunday lunches, an extensive a la carte menu and a table d’hôte dinner menu that changes daily.

Area information Contrary to belief, Scotland's weather is not always cold and miserable, and there is beauty in each season in this lovely country. Easter Ross, the area in which the hotel is situated, enjoys one of the lowest rainfall totals in Britain. Tain is a 40 minute drive north of Inverness. This hotel is the perfect venue from which to explore the highlands, go fishing, enjoying one of the many golf courses in the area or simply experiencing a short break. Travel information By Air: There are direct flights from London Gatwick to Inverness airport several times a day by British Airways. There is one direct flight a day from London Luton to Inverness via Easyjet. Flight connections are available to Inverness via Edinburgh and Glasgow airports. Car rental is available at Inverness airport through Avis or Hertz. Tain is a 40 minute drive north of Inverness. By Public Transport: There are overnight and daily trains to Inverness and there are taxi, rail and coach links to Tain from Inverness.
