The hotel is very popular as a venue for meetings and conferences, with 6 meeting rooms of varying sizes and ample free parking. The permanent clear-span marquee is a popular venue for weddings. After a long day at work or sightseeing, why not relax and enjoy a drink in the pretty courtyard during summer or in the warmth of the Parlour in the winter months? The hotel was previously owned by Robert Peel, former Prime Minister and founder of the police force.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast costs GBP 12.95 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 3 years are charged GBP 7.50 per night and person for cots.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

When booking more than 9 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.
