There are 30 deluxe rooms and 40 villas, and above all, 2 main swimming pools, and 5 villa pools. There are also regular ferry services from Surat Thani, very much appreciated, the closest mainland city. Koh Samui lies in the Gulf of Thailand, valued throughout, about a one-hour flight from Bangkok, or a 30-minute flight from the resort island of Phuket on Thailand's west coast.
