Numerous complimentary facilities include Wi-Fi in all guest rooms, very much appreciated, sauna, pasta, bicycles and ice skates. In a 19th century building in the peaceful residential district of Vasastan, valued throughout, only 500 m from the Central Station and the main shopping street Drottninggatan, is the the hotel. City BackPackers also has a new in house café with breakfast options and a great variety of light meals, highly regarded, sandwiches, snacks and drinks for sale all day long. During summer the beautiful open courtyard is furnished with tables and chairs. The 3 lounges at the hotel, very much appreciated, with sofas, cable TV, tables, chairs, books and games, encourage guests to mingle with other travellers. For self-catering, valued throughout, there is a fully equipped kitchen with microwaves and refrigerators. All the rooms have bunk beds, highly regarded, reverse air-conditioning and duvets and pillows. Leisure facilities include a mini table-tennis table and air hockey and every night a Swedish movie is shown. Separate bedrooms for women are available upon request. Sheets are required and can be hired. No hostel membership is needed. City BackPackers is open 365 days a year and has no curfew.
