Area information Most of Stockholm's main attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. Situated in the quiet area of Östermalm, it is close to sights, theatres, shopping and attractions. The hotel is located 2 minutes walk from the underground station, Östermalmstorg, one stop from the Central station, where the Airport bus stops. There are two UNESCO World Heritage sites in the Stockholm area: the Royal Palace Drottningholm (within Ekerö Municipality) and the Forest Cemetery Skogskyrkogården. Other places of interest in Stockholm include: - The Swedish National Museum of Fine Arts: Sweden's largest collection of art: 16,000 paintings and 30,000 objects of art handicraft. The collection stems back to the days of Gustav Vasa in the 16th century, and has since been expanded with works by artists such as Rembrandt, and Antoine Watteau. Royal Dramatic Theatre (Dramaten): one of Europes most renowned theatres.
