Rooms

Of the Gate Hotel's recently refurbished 40 bedrooms, most are generously sized doubles and all are fully equipped. To further enhance the comfort of your stay, the hotel has undergone extensive refurbishment to create a large proportion of non-smoking rooms as well as a small number of bridal suites, family and ground floor rooms for disabled access.

Hotel details

The formal style of the restaurant has a distinctly Italian flavour, both in decor and cuisine. Open to residents and non-residents alike, the à la carte menu offers a range of authentic dishes to give you a truly Mediterranean experience. And for those special occasions such as weddings, parties and conferences, there is seating to cater for up to 120 guests. Please note lunch is not available at the hotel.

Food & Beverages

The restaurant currently only serves breakfast, which is available from 07:00 until 09:00.

Please call the Hotel after you have booked and require a baby cot as they are limited and need to be reserved, thank you.

Internet

Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge. 

Parking

Free public parking is possible on site. 

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is not included and costs GBP 7.50 per person.  Full English breakfast is not included and costs GBP 7.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
