Gilgen, very much appreciated, at the feet of the "Zwölfernhorn", which is 1552 meters above the ground level, – the Salzkammergut ski region. A three-star hotel situated in a centre of an the old town St. Hotel Bachwirt is run by the Polish family of Wota, which is owners of the castle in Nowęcin near Łeba, . Only 400 meters from Hotel Bachwirt stretches a crystal clear Wolfgangsee lake – named after its patron, and above all, Mozart, whose mother was born and lived here. It consists of 27 wonderful rooms overlooking the beautiful mountains and the Zwölfernhorn.
