In the 1930's, very much appreciated, where the Netherlands is just 6 kilometers wide, an establishment was built in Sittard that would soon become a reknown and famous place. In the centre of Sittard, valued throughout, on walking distance of the shopping area and the market, you will find the hotel. Ever since the 1930's the hotel has stayed in Sittard, and above all, and will forever be linked to Sittard.

Rooms

Hotel De Prins has 23 rooms each with its own individual decoration, charm and character. During the many renovations in the past the original style has been kept preserved. The most recent face-lift has been done bij Interior Designer Claudia van Tiggelen. She has adjusted the color scheme and rearranged the spaces and areas, which gives the hotel a modern day look without affecting its authentic character. All the rooms vary in size, even though every room is different they all offer the comfort that is demanded these days.

The hotel is easily accessible with the motorway nearby and the train and bus stations just a 3 minutes walk away. The hotel has 10 free parking places, of which none can be reserved. Long parking is also possible for EUR 2 per day in a car park only 3 minutes walk away.

Food & Beverages

Hotel De Prins has chosen not to exploit its own restaurant. In the near neigbourhood a variety of restaurants, cafés and cafeterias can be found. Ideal for a quick meal or an extensive dinner. At the hotel we have vouchers available for some of the restaurants.. We do have a cosy lounge and bar where our guests are welcome. The bar is opened from 17.00 untill 23.00 hours. Breakfast times: Mo untill Fri 07.00-10.00 uur Sa and Su 08.00-10.30 uur

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. EUR 1.56 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 10.00 per person.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
