Shophouses along Malay and Malabar Streets were synonymous with merchants in the 1920’s and its early residents were the Peranakans, whose heritage dates back to as early as the 17th century. Their art and tapestry greatly influenced the décor and feel of the hotel’s 328 guestrooms and suites, and 75 units of Shophouses, which overlook Singapore’s first fully air-conditioned street and covered five-foot walkways.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

7 % Tax is not included.  10 % service charge per room per night is not included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is not included and costs SGD 36.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged SGD 60.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
