Area information The hotel’s convenient central location means it is close to all that you want to see and do in Sheffield. The city’s best nightspots are all within a few minutes’ walk of the hotel and Sheffield Arena is only 5 minutes away by tram. This year the arena played host to shows such as James Blunt, Dancing on Ice, Strictly Come Dancing, The Osmonds, Boyzone, Lee Evans and Bryan Adams. Sheffield City Hall, the Crucible Theatre and the Lyceum are all within just a few minutes of the hotel and all of the city’s business and commercial centres are also within easy reach. Slightly further afield, a short drive will take all those looking for the great outdoors into the Peak District, where you can either take a long rambling walk or visit the many attractions, including Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall and the Heights of Abraham, to name just a few. Travel information By Car (from the M1 Motorway): - Leave the M1 motorway at junction 33 and follow the Sheffield Parkway. - Take the A630 for approximately 4 miles (6.5 km). - The carriageway then splits into 3 lanes - follow signs for Victoria Quays and Lower Don Valley (making a right turn at the traffic lights). - At the next set of light, go straight on and at the next set turn left (you will notice Wicker Pharmacy opposite). - Follow the road round to the left and, after crossing the river, you will notice Park Inn Sheffield. - Once over the bridge, take your immediate left, down the side of the hotel. The NCP car park is on the right. Follow signs to the Park Inn Sheffield, which is only a few steps away.
