Area information SANA Sesimbra is located in the Atlantic Coast south of Lisbon and borders on the Arrábida Natural Park. For a scenic spot of unparalleled beauty visit Espichel Cape and the ragged hills surrounding it. The Meco beach stretches out for miles of sandy dunes and Arrábida is a lovely secluded bay. Sesimbra's Moorish Castle overlooks the town and is well worth a visit. Golf enthusiasts will delight in nearby Quinta do Peru Golf Course in Azeitão (17 km), Aroeira Golf Club (26 km), Montado Golf club (43 km), Ribagolf I and II (63 km) and Tróia Golf (130 km). Visit Azeitão and Palmela, lovely countryside towns, and take a tour of the vineyards and reputed wine cellars Quinta da Bacalhoa and José Maria da Fonseca.
