Old Vicarage

10 minutes from Selby. Just 25 minutes south of York on the A19, valued throughout, the the hotel, with en suite rooms, large gardens and private parking, is only 1 mile from exit 34 of the M62. Just off the M62 motorway and A19 road, highly regarded, the the hotel has easy access to York, Hull, Leeds, Goole, Selby and Doncaster. Clients appreciate the hotel is a beautifully furnished house on the edge of the village, and above all, overlooking the fields and the ancient church. There is a meeting room available. Full English breakfast is served overlooking the gardens, valued throughout, while local pubs offer excellent evening meals. When visiting York you can easily avoid parking problems by leaving your car at the McArthur Glen stores, which is where the A19 crosses the A64, and take the 'Park & Ride' bus into the city. With lots of free parking, and above all, the Vicarage is an easy drive from the racecourses at York and Pontefract.

Address Main Street, Kellington DN14 0NE Selby		Travel information By car (from M6): - Follow signs for Selby and York. Cross roundabout and turn left. - Follow the country road into the village of Kellington. - Turn left onto the main street and the Old Vicarage is located 200 metres on the right.
Area information The Old Vicarage is ideally situated for visiting the nearby historic city of York (12 km/ 7.6 miles). The A19 bypasses Selby and leads straight to York. Parking in the city is not ideal, so leaving the car at The McArthur Glen outlet stores (which you pass on the way to York) and taking the park and ride is the most convenient way of seeing York. Shopping at McArther Glen is excellent too. Selby (6 km/ 3.7 miles) on the way to York is worth a stop due to the beautiful Abbey.
