The quiet and pastoral location of this four star hotel invites almost everyone to linger for a while. The “Hotel Am Hohen Hahn” is a personally run hotel and it’s convincing family atmosphere gives every visitor that warm feeling of welcome. Our 700sq.m wellness landscape, consisting of spa and sauna areas offer more relaxation and recovery potential. You will be spoilt with everything imaginable. Along with the wellness landscpae, the hotel offers a large indoor swimming pool with various saunas, a solarium, a cosmetic and nail studio and a hairdressing salon. We invite you to rest, relax and allow yourself to be spoilt from head to toe.

Area information

The town of Schwarzenberg is lovingly known as the ‘Pearl of The Ore Mountains’ and is situated in Saxony Castle Country, lying snugly in the basin of the black river and surrounded by forests and wooded mountain ridges. The eyecatching landmark of the Schwarzenberg Castle thrones the City and sits atop a prominent rock spur overlooking the area. Next to the castle one will find the beautiful Sankt Georgen church. Further interesting sights are: · The carving exhibition of ‘Harry Schmidt’ in Bermsgrün · The Spirits Museums in Bockau and Waschleithe · An exhibition of miniature tradional buildings of the region at “Kleines Erzgebirge” in Waschleithe · The largest example of tin chambers in Europe situated in the old mines in Pohla

Travelling on the A72 motorway coming from Hof: - take the exit at Zwickau-Ost in the direction of Schneeberg/Aue - In Aue change onto the B101 to Schwarzenberg - In Schwarzenberg at the traffic lights take a left towards Sosa/Eibenstock and continue along the main road following the signs for Hotel am Hohen Hahn Travelling on the A72 motorway coming from Chemnitz: - take the exit towards Stollberg and change to the B169 in the direction of Aue - In Aue change onto the B101 to Schwarzenberg - In Schwarzenberg at the traffic lights take a left towards Sosa/Eibenstock and continue along the main road following the signs for Hotel am Hohen Hahn

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 18.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
