The Carlton Beach Hotel has over 183 comfortable and very attractive rooms, each offering a high level of comfort and a breathtaking view of the sea, the dunes or the Scheveningen boulevard. Each room also has its own balcony, allowing you to enjoy the fresh sea air whenever you want. Especially for business guests, the hotel also offers Executive rooms with extra facilities such as a comfortable workspace with ISDN link and audio equipment. You'll also find a bathrobe and slippers ready for you. Our Superior plus rooms are extra spacious (32 m2). These rooms provide an interesting option for business guests as well as tourists with families.

The Carlton Beach has its own beach club from spring until fall; the Carlton Beachclub! The Carlton Beachclub is a very special place on the north side of the Scheveningen beach right next to the hotel. Food & Beverages

The healthy sea air is likely to whet your appetite, which you can satisfy with a delicious meal at any one of our fine quality restaurants. Do you like a culinary surprise? No traditional cooking anymore, but our Chef de Cuisine, Bob Wardenaar makes creative compositions from daily fresh products. Take advantage of the location with a beautiful view of the sea and experience the culinary delights freshly prepared at restaurant A Fish ’n Sea. A Fish ’n Sea is open (with the exception of Sunday evening) from 10 AM until 9 PM. The Smugglers Grill is a popular restaurant with a relaxed ambience where you can enjoy a variety of grilled fish and meat dishes. If you arrive for a meal between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., we serve children up to the age of 12 a kids’ menu free of charge (maximum of 2). The Smugglers Grill is open from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. From mid March until October you can enjoy lunch or dinner in the Carlton Beachclub on the beach in front of the hotel. Creative dishes are prepared from an open kitchen, while you can sea the sun go down.

Parking is based upon availability. 95 places. Pets: EUR 25.00 per day per pet In the month of December and January we have a special promotion, if you make a reservation you can get a free upgrade to a room with see-view or a Superior plus room. This upgrade is based on availability.

Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge. 

Parking

Private parking is possible on site (reservation is not possible) and costs EUR 15.00 per day.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  EUR 3.81 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 19.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
