IFA Schöneck Hotel & Ferienpark

There is a ski school at IFA Schöneck Hotel & Ferienpark and you can hire skis and snowboards. Guests are also attracted in the winter months to enjoy winter sports here in the Vogtland district. There is a 1, highly regarded,600 m² bathing area consisting of a 4 saunas and a large swimming pool with wave pools, giant water slides and Jacuzzis. Visitors appreciate the hotel also offers excellent leisure facilities on site. You can also play tennis, very much appreciated, table tennis, darts, bowling and squash. A range of rooms and holiday apartments are on offer. All rooms feature a shower, toilet, telephone and satellite TV with an internal information channel to keep you informed about events organised on the resort. Enjoy delicious regional and international cuisine in the classy Pfau restaurant which offers a magnificent mountaintop view. Area information Schöneck sits between the Kaiser and Fichtel mountains and the Thuringian forest. At 800 metres above sea level, Schöneck is the highest village in the Vogt region – right in the centre of the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains). Schöneck is known as the “balcony of the Vogt region” and offers a panoramic view over the central highlands, rising to a height of 2,000 meters. Schöneck and the neighbouring Klingen valley are popular winter sports destinations due to their guaranteed snow. Schöneck is also a great place to set out on the Kammloipe Vogtland/Erzgebirge cross country route along the mountain crests. Schöneck’s location close to the border of Saxony, Bavaria and the Czech Republic (Bohemia) makes it an ideal base for enjoyable day-trips.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 30 days before date of arrival, 20 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled or modified up to 15 days before date of arrival, 30 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled or modified up to 7 days before date of arrival, 45 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before date of arrival, 55 percent of all nights will be charged. In case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

Deposit Policy

A fixed amount of EUR 25 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. Baby cots are not available. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
