The manageress of the guest house also happens to be the chef. She prepares a range of regional specialities, such as home-made Spätzle (Swabian egg pasta), Semmelknödel (bread dumplings), sauerkraut and Schweinshaxe (pork trotters) using local produce. Savour traditional hospitality and Bavarian cuisine in the cosy lounges. Wake up in the morning to a rich breakfast buffet, including bacon, home-made cakes, vitamin juices, various kinds of tea, wholegrain muesli, yoghurt, marmelade and forest honey. A takeaway breakfast is available for guests who have to set off early in the mornings.

Day trip destinations include the Königssee lake, Bad Reichenhall (15 kilometres away), Salzburg (20 kilometres away) and Markt Berchtesgaden.

If cancelled or modified up to 15 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified up to 7 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. EUR 2.10 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.
