The 7 restful and contemporary furnished rooms in our hotel all have their own colour. The bathrooms mirror the colours of the bedrooms, where the 'golden' taps give that little extra touch of luxury.

Hotel details

Hotel Os Dois Galos is situated in the small village of Deixa o Resto, which means "leave the rest". Inside the hotel you will find tranquility , outside there is space for long walks or tours by bike. Birdwatchers can spot over 150 different species, 50 meters distance, in the forest, and at the lagoon, 7 kilometers far. The hotel caters for people who have enough of big hotels on "the worlds Costa's" and would rather enjoy a quiet and atmospheric retreat with the personalized service of the owners. Possible excursions to Lisbon or to Algarve.

Food & Beverages

At the first floor, you find our restaurant 'De goede Smaeck' (The good Taste), furnished with a classical ambience where you can enjoy your meal both inside as outside on the balcony, and where dishes from our international kitchen are charming your gustatory papillae. Until 09:30 am the extensive breakfasts, for lunch we have a 'small chart' via bar or pool (01:00 pm till 03:00 pm). A la carte dining from 07:00 pm. For children we have special childrens menus. Half board guests also eat 'a la carte'. On request we organize b.b.q. at the pool area or on the balcony of the restaurant.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Free private parking is possible on site.

Pets are allowed. No extra charges.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children from 4 to 12 years are charged EUR 31.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
