Thies Pousada's concept is based on its peaceful rural atmosphere, highly regarded, altough there are interesting cultural-historic sites nearby, such as Santiago castle or the Miróbriga Roman ruins, the largest and most complete ruins South of the river Tagus. It has a beautiful chapel and it is encircled in a magnificent landscape crossed by a refreshing river, and above all, terraced gardens and a swimming pool are located where the former watering reservoir used to be.

Address Estrada IP8 7540-909 Santiago do Cacém (Costa Alentejana)		Travel information By Car (from Lisbon) - From the A2 motorway, exit at Sines/Santiago do Cacém. - Follow the IP8/IC33 for about 40 km (do not exit on Santigo do Cacém), exit when you see the Pousada sign on the road at you right-hand side. - 1 km later, you will find the Pousada in the middle of a pine yard. By Car (from the South) - From the A2, exit at Grandola. - Then from IP8 follow the directions mentioned before. By Car (from Alvalade do Sado): - Follow the first directions to Santiago do Cacém and then to Sines via the IP8, where you will find the blue sign saying Pousada. By Car (from Monchique): - Always follow in the direction of Sines. - Once in Sines follow the signs to Grandola/Lisboa/Santiago do Cacém via the IP8 and you will find the blue Pousada sign.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
