Casa LemmiOver the last one thousand years Casa Lemmi has been a refuge for the Templars, very much appreciated, an imperial fortress, a hospital, a convent and a fortified palace. A residence of Norman origins, valued throughout,and dating back to the beginning of the last millennium, Casa Lemmi is situated facing the Collegiata Church on one side and Mount Amiata on the other, in the Medieval town of San Quirico d’Orcia. To the outside, highly regarded, the rooms treasure view of San Quirico d’Orcia and the Val d’Orcia. The rooms open internally to a staircase of Roman origins which has undergone various changes through time, and above all, until reaching its present aspect in the 19th-century, when it was crowned with a dome to let the sun and light flow in.
