The attention to detail is reflected in the priceless antiques, carefully selected materials and elaborate interior design. Every kind of modern technology is available in our rooms: DVD Player and free use of our hotel laptops. All rooms are equipped with the latest air conditioning technology.

Directly situated in 14000 square metres of large castle park on the Mönchsberg, you can enjoy a magnificent view over the Mozart city Salzburg. The quiet but still central location in the midst of Salzburg allows for numerous guests to enjoy the amenities of our charming house. The old town is easily reached in just 7 minutes along the Mönchstein Panoramic Route via the lift, which is built into the Mönchsberg, or by car. The impressive new health & beauty facilities will be a significant addition and will enhance the relaxation value of the hotel for guests. Improvement of the conference facilities into a multi-functional seminar room for both business and pleasure is also in the pipeline.

Food & Beverages

Since the summer 2007 that our castle restaurant sparkles with its new glass façade and an extended terrace with a fabulous view overlooking the Mirabell Palace. Our famous chef offers first-class cuisine with refined Austrian dishes. Gothic Chamber - receive your guests in a historic, listed chamber furnished with valuable antiques. The room, decorated in neo-Gothic style, houses a travel chest with relief carvings depicting the proclamation of archangel Gabriel. Your event is sure to be an unforgettable experience in these surroundings. We offer a rich, delicious buffet breakfast. If you wish for anything else, please let us know.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 6 to 11 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  One older child or adult is charged EUR 58.00 per night and person in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
