From the station take Filiberto Villalobos Avenue to Pº Carmelitas. By car: From Madrid, take N-VI direction A Coruña. Take the N-110 to Avila and connect with the N-501 to Salamanca. Salamanca has been declared a Historical Patrimony. It is known for being the "Alma Mater" of Spanish education with more than 48.000 students. The museum also houses other lithurgical elements from the XVI and XVII centuries. In the old University building, a collection of reptiles are of great paleontologic interest.
